Die Wohnung liegt zentral zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Museen der Altstadt. Es gibt viele Geschäfte und Restaurants, die zu Fuß gut zu erreichen sind. Zum Bahnhof sind es etwa 15 Gehminuten, zum Patrokli-Dom etwa 10 min.
Ausflüge zum nahegelegenen Möhnesee oder zum Arnsberger Wald locken bei schönem Wetter; das hiesige Bade und Saunaparadies Aquafun ist auch bei Regen lohnenswert.
Vor dem Haus gibt es eine Entladezone, öffentliche Parkplätze sind etwa 300m entfernt.
